Is it free from allergens like nuts, soy, and dairy?
Our cotton candy is organic cane sugar plus real fruit and flavor, so there is no dairy, soy, gluten, egg, or artificial dye in it. A few limited drops have used nuts, and those say so on the bag. Every product page lists the full ingredients, so if you're managing an allergy, check the bag you're buying and ask us if anything is unclear.
How is cotton candy organic?
It starts with the sugar. The base of every flavor is Regenerative Organic Certified raw cane sugar from Florida Crystals, and some flavors add regenerative organic maple sugar from Forest Farms in northern New York. The rest depends on the flavor, but whatever it is, the fruit, the mix-ins, and the flavorings we use are all organic too.
How much candy is in a bag?
A big bag holds the equivalent of two large fairground cotton candies. It looks smaller because it's packed down for the bag, but as you pull it out it fluffs right back up. It says so on the back of the bag, too. A mini is a couple of bites, sized for favors and tastings.
